I keep going on about how I've got LOADS of games I haven't played that much. Unfortunately most of them are long story based type things, like Metal Gear Solid 2, Final Fantasy X, and it's that long since I played them I can't remember what I'm supposed to be doing.
I love these story based games, but post-kids I just don;t seem to be able to find the time to devote to them. So I'm getting more into the disposable pick-up-and-play games that you can fire up for a quick half an hour, a la Burnout 3.
Anyway... yesterday my copy of Timesplitters: Future Perfect arrived.

And it's awesome. Actually, no, it's not, it's awesomer than a very awesome thing that's having a really awesome day. And it was even awesomerer because it only cost £20.
I only played for about an hour, but already I have:-
- Escaped a crashed spaceship and made my way to the rebel base
- Invaded a Scottish island in the 1920's
- Tried remote-controled-stuffed-cat-on-wheels racing
- Used my 'electrotool' (phnarr) to recharge a room full of battery powered disco dancing monkeys.

See: Awesome!
